Most manure spreaders are designed to fling manure across a wide area with little or no cutting action to break up the manure. We all know how long it takes for horse manure to break up when it dries, years! The Shredder Spreader crushes the manure as it rolls over the drum at the bottom of the machine and lays it out so as not to smother the grass.

The Shredder Spreader allows you to cut back the time that paddocks are rested after being spread with fresh horse manure. As the manure is being shredded when it goes through the spreader it is open to air and sunlight, killing worms and worm eggs faster. This action also allows nutrients to be taken up by the soil quickly. |
